Royal Rumble Revised1/17/2024 Since the last update a lot has changed with the upcoming Royal Rumble card including more names being added to the Royal Rumble match. I pulled Cody from the triple threat match and placed him in the Royal Rumble instead as Cody has defeated both McIntyre and Edge. However, Edge and McIntyre still haven't met one on one which brings us to the Royal Rumble with the high stakes attached to this match-up. The other major change comes with the Intercontinental Championship after The Miz took advantage of Dolph Ziggler interfering against Rey Mysterio allowing Miz to capture the Intercontinental Title. Though I was looking forward to Mysterio defending against Shelton Benjamin after the classic they had last year. The rematch will still happen, but with recent events it made more sense to include everyone and make it a fatal four way including Miz, Benjamin, Ziggler, and Mysterio. Though the event is around the corner I might add other matches to the card for example, Matt Riddle defending the US Championship or the Brawling Brutes defending the World Tag Titles. However, the major focus is the Royal Rumble and the matches already listed. In the world of WWE 2k23 the "Road to Wrestlemania" is about to begin. Royal Rumble 2024 Revised CardRoyal Rumble Match (Men's) Kane, Cody Rhodes, Ken Shamrock, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Seth "Freakin" Rollins, CM Punk, and Rey Mysterio Royal Rumble Match (Women's) Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Aliyah, Natalya, Various WWE Hall of Famers Smackdown Women's Championship: (c) Ronda Rousey vs Candice LeRae Undisputed Universal Championship (c) Roman Reigns vs "Main Event" Jey Uso All for one and one for all four way match saw the "Tribal Chief" regain the Undisputed Universal Championship. Now Reigns will have the tall order to defend his championship against his cousin Jey Uso with "Mr. Money in the Bank" Sami Zayn lurking in the shadows. Grudge Match: Ricky Steamboat vs Jake Roberts Jake Roberts attempted to end the career of Ricky Steamboat with a DDT on the floor and thus far has struggled to get revenge. Now everything is on the line as Steamboat declared if he loses to Roberts again he will leave WWE. WWE Intercontinental Championship: Rey Mysterio vs Shelton Benjamin vs (c) The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler The last time these two were in the ring they defied my expectations and delivered a classic for the IC Title and now they get a second chance to deliver another classic. However, with Dolph Ziggler screwing Mysterio out of the title against The Miz everything has changed as now we have a fatal four way. Loser is Banned from the Rumble Match: Drew McIntyre vs Edge Back at Money in Bank, Edge was blamed by Cody & Drew for letting Sami Zayn escape with the briefcase by blocking Cody from stopping Sami. Following hard fought victories over both Drew and Edge, Cody found himself in the Rumble. Now though there is still unfinished business between Edge and McIntyre. They need to settle the score with high stakes being whoever loses this match will not be allowed in the Royal Rumble!!

Rumble Update1/7/2024 Every year we start the calendar with one of my favorite PPV's on the year that being the Royal Rumble. Though I'm not talking about the real Royal Rumble, I'm just excited to put one together in the world of WWE 2k23. As I mentioned based on the success of Survivor Series and Money in the Bank last year I will be expanding the Royal Rumble card this year to include more then just the Rumble match. After winning a triple threat match including Rhea Ripley and Asuka we have the next challenger for Ronda Rousey in the underdog Candice LeRae. Candice defied odds defeating both former champions to gain the opportunity to challenge the "Baddest Women on the Planet" for the Smackdown women's championship at the Royal Rumble. Royal Rumble 2024 Updated CardRoyal Rumble Match (Men's) Kane (only official entrant so far) Royal Rumble Match (Women's) Smackdown Women's Championship: (c) Ronda Rousey vs Candice LeRae Undisputed Universal Championship Grudge Match: Ricky Steamboat vs Jake Roberts Jake Roberts attempted to end the career of Ricky Steamboat with a DDT on the floor and thus far has struggled to get revenge. Now everything is on the line as Steamboat declared if he loses to Roberts again he will leave WWE. WWE Intercontinental Championship: (c) Rey Mysterio vs Shelton Benjamin The last time these two were in the ring they defied my expectations and delivered a classic for the IC Title and now they get a second chance to deliver another classic. Triple Threat Match: Drew McIntyre vs Edge vs Cody Rhodes Back at Money in Bank, Edge was blamed by Cody & Drew for letting Sami Zayn escape with the briefcase by blocking Cody from stopping Sami. Unfinished business is the name of the game and now whoever loses this match will not be allowed in the Royal Rumble!!

Royalty is Next12/27/2023 The Premium Live Events return to the YouTube channel in January as our Royal Rumble will be back for another year. This year the card will expand to include more than just the Royal Rumble. With the success of both Survivor Series last year and Money in the Bank more special events will occur on the YouTube channel. The Royal Rumble card will be developing over the next few weeks and the main question will then become who will go on the "Road to Wrestlemania" for the chance to become World Champion. Royal Rumble 2024 CardRoyal Rumble Match (Men's) Kane (only official entrant so far) Royal Rumble Match (Women's) Smackdown Women's Championship: (c) Ronda Rousey vs ??? Undisputed Universal Championship Grudge Match: Ricky Steamboat vs Jake Roberts Jake Roberts attempted to end the career of Ricky Steamboat with a DDT on the floor and thus far has struggled to get revenge. I Have a Story Part 312/16/2023 Moving forward a bit more to early 2020! I think everyone knows the time period in question is when the world shut down and nobody knew when or if life would go back to normal. It was during this time I started collecting wrestling memorabilia and in my opinion again expanding my personality actually giving myself interests. I've always considered myself a bit of a historian for the profession we all love and this was my way to preserve history and finally be proud of being a fan.
Prior to starting to collect I never really spent much money, because anything I wanted I just waited for birthdays or Christmas. Times were changing though and I had grown up, I wasn't a kid anymore and couldn't wait for others to buy me things I wanted. Also I believe during the pandemic, collecting gave me something to keep my mind off always being home. I was struggling a bit mentally though at this time not really realizing I was until I was able to look back in hindsight, but I was struggling and didn't want to admit it. Moving to the fall of 2020 I started to stream on Twitch and instead of learning prior to starting I winged it figuring to learn as I go. I had previously tried streaming on Twitch in the summer of 2015 and embarrassed myself thinking that I'd never do it again, but I was back though. In streaming I found something else that could both expand my personality and give me outlet during a time in which I really needed one as the pandemic was still in full effect. To this day, I look at my collection and think how amazing it would be to be able to display most if not all of the collection I have procured over the last few years. At this point though I have limited space and can't display everything. The amount of collection pieces I have stored away would likely blow people's minds. I still find pieces today that I didn't either know I had or forgot I had purchased in the past few years, because at some points a lot was coming in all at once. Could I make a museum? Probably, but being able to display everything and see something I'm very proud of and would love to be able to share on a larger scale. Sharing isn't something I've always been good at, but I'm trying to get better at it!

I Have a Story Part 212/13/2023 Honestly there is no time like the present! Let's continue telling the story, for that we have to go back in time a bit to 2016. The year 2016 was important because I graduated from college in 2016 and reality set in from there that school was over. I was home and needed to become an adult that feeling though sucked. I finally got a job almost a year after graduating and my career in retail officially began and I've said in that field since.
Back in High school I had asked if I wanted to get into the wrestling business what should I major in at college and marketing or video production were the options given. I chose marketing as it was something I already had an interest in and wanted to further develop that aspect of my skills. However, getting a degree doesn't mean that you will automatically gain you a job in the field of choice even though you went to school expecting to have a future in the field. I didn't let the degree go to waist though as I've used the marketing skills I learned in school to further Wrestling Express both with written and spoken content. Though a number of people around me believe I haven't given everything I could to find a way to get my foot in the door in the field I went to school for, I feel like I didn't waist it. If given the chance I wouldn't do it over again not that I regret it, but I feel like I went to school to get it out of the way as opposed to hoping it would benefit my life long term. At this time I don't think that I was ready to be an adult and didn't really feel like thinking more in depth into where I'd be a year or a few months down the road. Though I feel like I'm a logical and realistic person not having a plan long term and just going through the motions leads to a point where change is needed. Mentally, professionally, and emotionally I was hiding from any difficult decisions and was just trying to live like I did when I was a student and not accepting that it was time to grow up.

I Have a Story Part 112/12/2023 Eight years ago I was sitting in an office for my first job and wasn't sure what to expect but did everything that was asked of me and actually was grateful for the opportunity. It was in that office when I started doing research, and when I started writing. Earlier in that year I opened this site and over complicated everything. I didn't want the easy, I wanted the long winded anything I could put my own twist on, because I wanted to get noticed.
In that office I wrote a book with the intention of publishing it and even would do podcast spots later on promoting the eventual release of the book. Fast forward nearly a decade later, both books are still somewhere in my online archives that have never been released. For three years I kept trying and pushing everything I had for this site and I achieved a lot more than I thought I would've. I've heard over the years it's time to move on and do something more, give your time to something more worthwhile. Reality is that's a tough pill to swallow when you realize that something you tried to build hit it's potential and will not grow any further. I wasn't being pessimistic! I was being realistic and to a fault I'm normally realistic and not optimistic. The reason those books never were released wasn't because I didn't believe it was because I didn't ever think they were complete. Again I went long winded attempting to add and add and add more instead of just going straight for the shortest gap between two points. I think of this as a journal entry and something that shows the heart of this brand still exists even if I don't write at all nowadays. I can still let how I'm feeling in a moment flow out. I applaud those around me who have the flair to want to do for themselves and not follow the path already laid. It's not that I do it's that I never thought about another way to go. It was either going the easy way or just never caring enough to really go all in. In poker going all in on one hand is the biggest risk you take, I don't take risks ever!! I'm not a risk taker never have been, I'm calculated and logical but also realistic to a fault. I don't blame those around me for not feeding into a pipe dream! I don't blame myself for spending as much time as I did on this dream. Without this "pipe dream" honestly I don't believe that I'd be where I am right now as a person or a man. If I could tell something to the 20 year old kid sitting in that office at my first job I'd tell him to write that book, you might not publish it, but write anyway and enjoy every single second of it.

The Next Big Show10/24/2023 Honestly, I had a lot of fun putting together a custom PPV event using WWE 2k23 and though not every match took off there were some that did amazing and made all the extra work worth it. I will admit when the #1 contender match delivers more then the actual match does it should say something about the actual match concept. I also learned a bit for next time that maybe an all Women's event wouldn't be the worst idea as it seemed like that was what people paid the most attention to this time around.
During the War Games recording Sam and I spoke about the potential next card that could be put together and I'm still up in the air on that next one that I will put together. This year we started with the Royal Rumble and then moved right to Wrestlemania a few weeks later and will indeed do something similar this year but I think I would like to do something in between even if it's something a little smaller. Thought about the mixed match challenge or King of the Ring, but I think a certain Ladder match might be calling my name instead!

Final Card for the PLE9/30/2023 First off I've decided that the PLE will be Survivor Series the main reason being that War Games will be included in the event for the very first time. I was attempting to bring a second War Games match onto the card, but it didn't work as well as it will for the Women's War Games match. Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez have been one of the better rivalries I've put together since moving to WWE 2k23. As long as everything works out I should also be joined by occasional broadcast partner Sam Medina from Pro Wrestling Nation. It is also official at this time that Shelton Benjamin will challenge Intercontinental Champion Bron Breaker for his championship at Survivor Series filling in the final match on the card. I've also made the decision not to include a championship match for the men's tag titles instead we will be focusing on the tag division in the month of November. If things go well with this PLE then I will be doing this again in a similar way for the Royal Rumble in January. Not sure if I will do it again before the year is out as this PLE has been brought together organically and not from me forcing things to come together. Below is the updated card for my version of Survivor Series 2023: Raw Women's Championship:
(c) Bianca Belair vs Alexa Bliss Alexa survived the ten minute challenge and will gain the chance to become Women's Champion on the big stage. War Games Roxanne Perez, Gigi Dolin, and Aliyah vs Cora Jade, Jayce Jayne, and Doudrop One of the main rivalries since I started on WWE 2k23 has been the continued back n forth between Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez. Former tag partners Gigi Dolin and Jayce Jayne have added themselves into the match and raised the intensity a bit more. Defeating the Man: Becky Lynch vs Zoey Stark One of the top stars in WWE and tough challenger for any member of the women's division to contend against. However, accepting this open challenge comes with an insane benefit if they can defeat Becky Lynch. Zoey has a chance to prove herself against one of the biggest stars in WWE. Breakthrough Tournament Finals JD McDonagh vs Happy Corbin Winner of the match will earn the right to challenge either Kevin Owens or Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship. WWE Intercontinental Championship: (c) Bron Breaker vs Shelton Benjamin Benjamin earned his chance by winning a four way match as the veteran of the roster Benjamin deserves a chance to win gold again. Bron has been proving himself defeating former champions left and right it will be tough for Shelton. Smackdown Women's Championship: (c) Charlotte vs Carmella After knocking back the challenge from the Queen, Carmella earned her chance to go toe to toe with the Women's Champion. WWE United States Championship: (c) Austin Theory vs LA Knight After winning a triple threat #1 contender contest LA Knight earned the chance to challenge Theory for the United States Championship. Undisputed Universal Championship: (c) Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens Recently, Kevin Owens fought hard to defeat Roman in a non title match and thus earned the chance to become Undisputed World Champion. Roman has shown in the past exactly why he's the bread winner of the Bloodline and this match might not be any different.

A Step Closer to the Big Stage9/26/2023 Feels like it's been ages since I started talking about the upcoming PLE event as a number of these rivalries will come to a head on the big stage. Some matches have been late additions I think it's pretty clear at this point that it will never be perfect I just have to chose when the time is right to put the final touches on the card. One match I know I'm still deciding on is if the Tag Titles will be defended on the upcoming PLE event as I've done a lot to make sure the women's division will be spotlighted. Both the United States and Intercontinental championships will be defended at this point though the IC champion is still yet to be determined. For the updated card check it out down below: Raw Women's Championship:

Upcoming PLE Update9/6/2023 If you missed the first article on this subject then you might not be aware of the fact that using WWE 2k23 I've been building a PLE. One thing that I keep going back n forth with is do I want Roman defending his World Title or do I go a different route for more content. I have the philosophy that the World Champion should always be defending his championship on the big events. Aside from the World Title this event has the makings of being a very women's heavy event which is something I wanted. Earlier this year I realized I wasn't giving the women's division enough of the spotlight and with this event I wanted to give them more of the spotlight as a way to show they carry the show. On this event the women's division have four matches including two non title matches. The one thing I'm unsure about is if I want to include legends in the event or not and part of the reason for this is I don't yet how many matches I want included in the event. I've been loving including Kurt Angle in matches and we still are "defending the streak." However, having to many featured contents could takeaway from the matches that should get some attention. If a good idea presents itself either organically or inorganically then I will include a legend otherwise the card will be as you see below. Raw Women's Championship:
